magorio I didn't quite understand what you wrote, if you are referring to an automatic weather update, yes that would be a nice feature.
In your screen shot there is an option in the configuration window of weatherbar named "update rate".
This is the so-called update-interval and represent the time-interval that is used to update the weather information. It is the amount of time that needs to pass before new information is gathered about the weather from the website. Thus weatherbar request the website to provide this information.
The website limits the amount of requests per application. Say the website limits this to 100 requests per hour and imagine there are 100 people running weatherbar at the same time and who configured weatherbar to update the weather information every second....
In such a case the website will 'block' the weatherbar application from being able to request any new information about the weather, making the application useless for both you (and other people using it).
So, as i stated: do not be a jerk and think only of yourself but also about other people and be gentle with modifying the update interval. Because you can also manipulate the restriction that Yannick has build in the script you could circumvent his restriction and become an even bigger jerk if you do so
Does that information make more sense to you now ?
What's missing is the possibility (maybe there is), is to be able to choose the GUI location and maybe the possibility of an iconify of the GUI with the ability to see on the bar just some more important data.
Yes, that is an omission but also understandable as zulu (is that what it MUI for Lua is called ?) has some restrictions.
