As long as you use the default settings for weatherbar it should not matter much.
That is why i made the post about leaving the (update interval) settings alone and especially not tamper with the script itself as Yanick build in some form of protection to not "overload" the webserver. As long as you play by those rules then all should be fine.
You guys are the ones who know how many times your distribution gets downloaded... but the real question is how many people actually use your distribution as a daily driver _and_ who are egoistic enough to want to have a weather update every second/minute. The default hour interval setting should be enough for most people (excluding weather fetishists)
The goal of my post was to inform so that people know how things work in case they are not aware.
Luckily for use there is also an alternative that was developed by markusF, although perhaps lacking some features when comparing 1:1.
