In Browsers Chrome, Firefox etc... there is a way to decrease the Fonts size, also there is Zoom which can help !

Indeed, and in Google Chrome and Edge, doing so will change the font size and the size of the table around it. Thus, it will never reveal anything more than it did it its initial depiction.

I still don't understand what you need the Browser for, to edit Catalogs you need a simple Editor, on Windows you can use Notepad ++ (Free) which supports native "AMIGA" texts, also to edit and compile Catalogs you can do it on my AROS One
How do you know what to edit?

Ah, now I remember: How do you determine what size the target string can be? That's what I wanted to be added to the *.cd. Is there now a way to find that one out? Or is it just using the application with the translated language, to see what fits?

Sorry from the translation I still don't understand ....

Catalog sources include these Files:

name-app-device.cd -> include String Inglese (default)
dutch.ct ->  include String Inglese e stringa dutch

Once you have created the dutch.ct file to create the catalog just urilize this command:

C:FlexCat name-app-device.cd dutch.ct CATALOG=name-app-device.catalog

FlexCat AROS version can be found on AROS One, FlexCat also exists for other amigans platforms

Yes?
Is there a question in all that?
You write that there is something that you don't understand, but you don't say what it is. What is it that you don't understand?
And, how do you know what catalog to translate?

No, ecco di cosa si tratta. Volevi sapere a cosa mi serviva un "browser": Sapere quale catalogo tradurre. Non quale lingua tradurre, ma quale catalogo. / No, that's what it's about. You wanted to know what I needed a "browser" for: Knowing which catalog to translate. Not what language to translate, but what catalog.

All catalog sources in all languagesi can be found here:

https://github.com/aros-translation-team

If the catalog in your language does not exist, you can create it by editing a catalog from another country

And Mazze created an overview for that. To read it, like for reading the complete listing, you need a browser. Unfortunately, the specific way that overview was published has its draw-backs on W10, in that in several browsers it doesn't display as it should.
(No idea where I am supposed to have said I'm Dutch. But we have no catalogs in Frisian at all, and no Frisian version of the website, so I'm not translating to fy, at the moment.)

Windows 10 works fine for me, probably your Win10 has some problem, or you are wrong in downloading the catalog.

I created a small viedo where you can see how to download the catalog sources, you can download them individually for each Application.

If there is no Dutch Catalog, download a catalog of another language, translate it to Dutch !

I attach tutorial video (unzip the Zip archive):

Hi,

Ah, that is something I can work with. I am home at the moment, where I can't check stuff like that, but I'll try some other Ws10 tomorrow.

Not sure what catalog you are referring to, here.

Well, I know how to do that, except that I call them "programs", but I'll check to see if there's something new in it; thank you.

OK, I've tried it out on my machine at work and on a different machine. The Progress that Mazze linked, doesn't show Dutch (or Finnish), under Chrome and Edge. I can see that it's there under PaleMoon, but those two browser have problems with it, regardless of the machine or the user. Strange.
Other W10 users?

Now I understand your problem, dutch.ct does not exist, you have to download german.ct or english.ct and translate it to Dutch, and rename dutch.ct!!!

Translating is simple, the .ct file, and a simple text file

No, it's not a problem with the catalogs, just with  the overview. I had to check that I had indeed changed the name for the clock catalog to "dutch.ct"; that's how little impact that had made. I have more problems with things like the exact meaning of "Can't create application object." Is that "Failure to create this specific object"? Or "Creation of  application objects not implemented"? And though FlexCat allows for minimal dimensions, the clock.cd doesn't seem to have any. (And I should remember to add a reply to the Git of FlexCat about why it needs maximum dimensions as well.)

But anyway; there not being a catalog at all is not the issue. IIRC, if necessary FlexCat can be used to generate an untranslated catalog, hence that would never be a problem. The problem is that under Chrome and Edge, I don't see the overview for them. If you can see Dutch catalogs in the overview in W10 under Chrome and Edge, that's rather curious.

Start of the message for no other reason than to let the machine see that it didn't see this before. Didn't work either; I ended up copying the entire message. (Further explanation at the bottom.)

(No idea where I am supposed to have said I'm Dutch. But we have no catalogs in Frisian at all, and no Frisian version of the website, so I'm not translating to fy, at the moment.)
But if I were, what name would we use for it? Internationally it's commonly called "West Frisian", to distinguish it from "East Frisian" and "North Frisian". However, in Fryslân we distinguish West Fryslân, the area in the province of North Holland that used to be Frisian  when the Zuiderzee/IJsselmeer wasn't as wide. Hence, we call THAT dialect "West Frisian", and our own language "Frisian"/"Frysk", or more linguistically "Westerlauwersk Frysk".
So, would the catalogs be named on the international name, or on the own name of the language?

And what would be the minimal set of AROS pages? I sometimes run into blank pages, and I'm never quite sure whether that's a connection problem or a link problem. Are all pages supposed to exist in every language? (Less of a Frisian problem, now that I think about it. More a general guideline.)

Not that I have a lack of things to do; I just let my mind wander while walking over here.

Oh, dear. I answered a post while reviewing this. Now, it says it didn't accept this post as it came to close after the other, but it also won't accept it after a wait as it saw that  message before. Maybe this paragraph will make it distinct enough. Nope. Maybe if I change the start of the message.

Bye,
Mysha

Regarding the ligua AROS is able to recognize also different names, for Dutch, local ricoboce both if the catalog is called dutch.catalog, and nederlands.catalog

The messages not accepted is because, when you re-edited them you didn't wait the 60 seconds, in some cases to fix it close the Browser, wait 1 minute and repeat the operation.
