again. aros m68k is not a port of aros to amigaos3. there is a reason afa os has been a separate effort. aros modules have most likely aros dependencies, not available on amiga. while it may be possible to improve on it in certain cases, it is not in scope of aros.

if every os module (library, whatsoever) was replacable and working on os3 and vice versa, aros would have to be 1:1 copy of os3 without improvements.

btw. when bernd was working on afa os he was also trying to port aros intuition in order to achieve the functionality of moving windows outta the screen on amiga. but apparently it was too difficult. afaos patches some amiga libraries with aros counterparts. but in order to remove that particular limitation you need to patch intuition module in rom itself. it can be done preparing a custom patched rom image and mapping it instead of the original. you can use power windows (it contains instructions how to do that) and i have done that using powerwindows, patched custom kickstart and afa os for several years.

BTW the disk-based improved intuition.library in AmigaOS 3.1.4 is said to provide this functionality too. I don't know if this improved library works alone in a 3.1 roms+system environment.

We confirm the intuition.library v45 of OS 3.1.4 has this functionality

Also I used it in the past on OS 3.9 without AfA-OS, did you use it on OS 3.9 + AfA-OS + RTG? maybe now I try again, it may be that I did something wrong!

I found out that it's not AfA-OS's fault, on a basic OS 3.9 + AfA-OS installation, PowerWindows works well, I have to find the culprit.

Finally an IconEditor 68k is about to manage the new Dual-PNG icons and not only on OS3, it is a port of the OS4 version, the developer kindly wanted to fulfill my old request made some time ago. Currently on OS3 you can only edit Dual-PNG icons, you can add the Glow, change images on both faces, and use all the tools available on the GUI. The only flaw at the moment is not being able to manage or save the icons in OS4.1 format (the loading is done but some functions are missing to perfect the operation), my friend Peter author of Icon.library is working on it and soon you can do this too. The same problem for the native AROS icons (those of the "Nightly Builds") that the OS4.1 version can not handle (the OS3 version does), these are icons that have a first image in the AR4 format of OS4 and a second image in the OS 3.5 and OS4 palette format. The Dual-PNG MOS icons on the other hand are fully supported, as well as the old OS3 Icons of any kind that can be changed and converted to Dual-PNG
