So this is the machine I will be offering to those that like my cases and want an Open Source Amiga.

It has a new motherboard with supported NVidia 3D graphics and uses the HD audio that I originally funded many years back.

Sadly the onboard Network driver is not supported but I have some new 8169 nic's to fit.

Any way, I am sure you guys all build your own and that is the fun of this project but there a re a lot out there that want a nice fully built and ready to go machine that looks like an Amiga too.

Hi Deadwood

Great to see you here.

I do have one issue with the NForce 630 graphics, when any app goes full screen the display just goes grey and you can here it playing.

Any ideas?

Steve

Try going to full screen at different resolutions and see if that makes any difference. I assume NForce is a integrated chipset so does not have it's own GPU memory - try increasing about of RAM assigned to GPU in BIOS.

It has 256mb maximum ram allocated to the built in GPU.

Dropping AROS desktop to 800x600 and the game at the same should have enough memory but still grey screen.

Then I don't know why my nvidia geForce 8400 no longer shows me the high resolutions is a mystery before it worked I also downloaded an old version of icaros desktop

Does it happen with a number of games or just one?
When you start in window-mode with the same resolution as desktop, does it render correctly?

It happens with Chromium and Foobillard, the latter crashes if you switch to AROS screen which is still active whilst Chromium just plays without visuals.

Interesting, TUX racer is fine, so this is curious.

I will test some more on my Older distribution setup.

Ok, older distribution has same problem. Some work full screen and some not?

Weird.

Hi Steve,
Good to see you back; that is a very smart looking setup  :D

Have you though of promoting it over on Amigaworld.net or similar? Maybe if it looks like an Amiga on the outside as well as operating like one it would finally persuade people to move into the 21st century (or a least a couple of decades on) from their original Amigas.

Any thoughts of a laptop case? One reminicent of the 'wedge' cases with an RPi 4 running stand-alone emu68 (hopefully one day....) and AROS is something I owuld love to have at some point.

Cheers,
Nigel.

Already done all of this in the past :-)

This is a system that I hope will appeal to all Amiga fans and if nothing else it will fan the AROS flame once more.

Nothing comes to my mind with regards to what can be causing this.

I guess it is just one of those things.

It runs Cube in full screen and that is all that matters :-)
