best solution graphics card?

Currently I have an quadro NVS 295 with 256 MB of RAM and also supports high resolutions 1920x1080, I wanted to take a card with 512 or 1gb of RAM and also supported the high resolutions I was unlucky with a GeForce 8400 GS 512 MB, a 210 1 GB and a GTX 470 1 GB do not support high resolutions!! :-\

Im currently working on some Youtube videos where Im benchmarking dozens of supported video cards. The results are pretty different to what they are under Windows or Linux.
Should be up in a week, give or take a few days.

It is strange some cards first worked on me were the GeForce 8400 and the G210 could choose the native resolutions for my monitor, now they don't go inexplicable, the quadro nvs295 works fine and play also doom 3

Have you had this problem since changing motherboards?
...could try updating the mb bios if you have.
I know there was a problem with the geforce 8xxx series on some mb's

at moment nvidia quadro nvs 295 for me is best graphics card, advanced resolution is compatible and the all Games works fine

So I know this is just about settled, but there was made a NVS 420 with twice the shaders & presumably congruent overall.

Them whom say it can't be done ought not interrupt those doing it.

I tried a nvidia GTX 470 to 1024x768, I have a 17 "monitor better this resolution especially for the eyes :D
