If you read that I would suggest you this for SMP Development. I am sorry that I suggested asking for the AROS Funds to finance you your broken Computer!

I have an HP Z400 and I had an HP Z600 they work well with Aros, I am curious to try it with Axruntime in a few months, there will be Scalos and we will have Aros who runs on a Linux subsystem that will give us the opportunity to use modern hardware solutions, in past I used aeros but now it does not allow the use of the aros applications that I prefer and then the subsystem is obsolete, I on Axruntime will only use Firefox then I will have fun as always with the AROS apps

The native solution is more satisfying but we cannot use our hardware available in an optimal way, then Odyssey software side is becoming more and more obsolete is the most important application and it is not known if someone will update it currently for example I have to start Windows for to be able to access a site but despite this still can be used with satisfaction for years that I have been using AROS in native mode

Is it possible that AxRuntime gives AROS real SMP Capabilities? Making Linux as much AROS as possible?

And another suggestion AROS and AxRuntime on ARM.. PCs  gorge too much Energy!

All the software written for Aros was currently conceived to turn on a CPU core, Deadwood at the moment did not speak to implement the multicore on the system

The future of AROS looks very good
(I am just amazed I did not find it sooner).

The way I enjoy AROS and understand things;

AROS 32 bit very fast (and I find very stable now my hardware is sorted out). So I will continue to use and enjoy it in a purest AROS kind of way.

AROS 64 bit (SMP or not) is very exciting and I look forward to it being installed as a pure AROS next to 32.

Axruntime, hosted AROS and soon to be a "super host"
with AROS/Linux hybrid (its own distro?) Using 32 or 64 bit AROS. Not so pure but very practical (and just more fun to play with).

Perhaps the hybrid version not being so pure should be renamed?

AROS Machine Integration for Games & Applications

We could probably just abbreviate that to AMIGA

....couldn't we?

 ;)

Yes, the native system is still fine, the biggest problem will be Odyssey when it is no longer usable

I've already said here https://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?mode=viewtopic&topic_id=17111&forum=16&start=100&viewmode=flat&order=0#851571 he already got a new PC, so the above is not needed.

And, as I've written on AW, it's better to do NOT directly finance him. Bounties was the AROS way to finance parts of the o.s..
And it's the right way, because it guarantees that a component is completed before paying the developer. Bounties also respond to the concrete goals that customers, which are actually paying, instead of giving free money that you don't even know how/where they are used.

Kalamatee is for some months the only AROS developer besides Deadwood. Feel free to send some bucks. He deserves it.

What's NOT clear to you about this:

A bad person remains a bad person, even if he's the only AROS developer left. I'll not sustain him anymore (except for bounties which I could be interested in).

I'm sure I had Fcuking Duck at a Chinese restaurant a couple of years back.
It was served with fried vegetables, a light fluffy rice dish, a zesty orange source and all washed down with a crisp dry white wine.
Rather nice and not too expensive as I remember.
Next time anyone comes to Nova Scotia we should give it a try!

I just read today on another thread that the 64bit SMP is booting on VMware. Fantastic!! The next time I'm at Tims I'll download the latest nightly on the free WiFi (with a Boston cream donut!)  :)

I like that kalamatee does something for 64 Bit AROS SMP Development! And there is no Bounty for this!
Guess what: you can create a bounty for this. Do it, if you're interested.

And maybe for your miseriness it is  for you better not to give him Money.
miseriness doesn't exist in the dictionary.

Did you mean misery? Then I've to inform you that I've a very good salary.

And whats not clear about that:

I send kalamatee Money whenever I like!
And what's the problem? Do it!

It`s not the FCUKING name cdimauro
Oh, now you're also using the bad words. Is your violated ego satisfied now? You need very little to satisfy it: enjoy!
