Hello,
I would  like  to know if the  new version  of  AROS one  (1.6)  is  fully functional on an  ACER Aspire  netbook?
Thank you!

Well, it  seems  that ASAP is  for  me  2 years  later  :D I tried  to install Aros one  on  my Acer Aspire today, I used  a  flashdrive  image burned  with  Etcher. Unfortunately, the  mouse  doesn't  function, the  pointer  doesn"t appear. I have  access to the  dock (the  icons  are highlighted if  I move  the  mouse). Thanks  in advance  for  your  advice.

Try unplugging all peripherals connected to the USB Ports, then plug them in after system boot !

Thanks, it  worked. The  problem is  that the live  session  doesn't "remember" the  mouse after  reboot. Also, I am stuck at the first step of  the  installation process (creation  of  the DH0 partition), and  I can't reboot  to continue, instead the computer shut  down  completely. I see the partition  created on the  workbench,  but  the  installation  doesn't  go any further. Then  I realized  that the CMOS battery is  dead, that could  explain  a  lot  of  things. Of course, replacing  the  battaey  is  a  painful process, it  is  underside  the  mainboard and  I have  to disassemble  the  machine completely , a  not  so easy task, but  it has to be done.
Thanks again  for the  tip.

It's not a bug, it's not a Battery problem, it's a problem that covers some Notebooks.

About the installation did you do the correct steps with InstallAROS ?

- Wipe Disk
- Restart
- Use Existing AROS Partition
