V.A.M.P. (Virtual Amiga Multimedia Player):, is a MultiOS, Multilingual and Multimedia Player developed in Hollywood for OS3, OS4, AROS, MOS, WarpOS and Windows. The Player supports many multimedia formats, on Amiga systems through Plugins, Datatypes and Libraries, on Windows systems through Video Codec.

The Player is not very fast with the various Video formats, but it turns out to be one of the best animations viewer both for quality and speed, V.A.M.P. is also an Audio Player and an Image Viewer.


Among the various skins available in the archive you will also find skins created by me except for the one in the screenshot and others that you will find in AROS One 68k and x86.

Supported Formats:
V.A.M.P. display the next multimedia formats currently:
* Amiga Anim formats: anim, anim5, ham6, ham8, yafa.
* MovieSetter movies format. NOTE: Only with Pluggins.
* Web animation formats: GIF, APNG.
* Show pictures: JPG, PNG, GIF, LBM, BMP, IN NATIVE WAY SVG, JP2(JPEG 2000), TIFF, PCX, WEBP.
* Video formats: CDXL, OGG, AVI, MPEG, MPG, WMV, FLV, MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM AND 3GP, M4V.
* Music&Sound files: MP3, MOD, 8SVX, 16SV, IFF, WAV, WAVE, RIFF, OGG, FLAC, M4A, WMA, DBM, HVL, AIFF.

VAMP looks like a very cool project.

I appreciate that it can display picture types and animation.

Does it do conversion from one format to another like ffmpeg?

V.A.M.P. has no Menu or Option to save. there is another program of the same Author "AnimWebConverter" that allows you to save any Animation in PNG, GIF, AVI formats, see screenshot.

The latest version of "AnimWebConverter" to save requires a registration key
