Created 12 Themes including Background Workbench and Windows, Windows GUI, Zune GUI, Pointers (optional), Themes are compatible with all AROS 68k and AROS x86 versions and will be available on the next releases of AROS One x86 and AROS One 68k

For the Theme Change I've created single scripts to be executed via icon from Workbench (Wanderer), once clicked a request will ask the confirmation that if accepted will restart the system with the new Theme.

To improve the graphical aspect I have also created small icons for viewing in detail on the Workbench, see attached video

I attach a video that shows all 12 themes installed on AROS One 68k.

Excellent work on the themes!

I currently have an older version of AROS One x86 installed in VirtualBox for testing. But I'm running out of room on my laptop hard drive. I suppose I could use an ISO of AROS One x86 ?

Yes the ISO is Live and operational as the version installed on HD, except for the programs that need to write to the temp.

The new themes and other new features will be in the next release !

Latest Theme for AROS One x86 and AROS One 68k systems, this brings to 15 the number of custom Themes for AROS.

miker1264 before deploying my new Aros One, I wait for the new deadwood distribution, and your software news

Added some new pointer (Normal and Busy) for AROS x86 to match the Themes created, if you have some particular pointer attach here the image possibly small and qualitative.

Updated the Set Pointer for AROS x86, on AROS 68k PNG images seem to be not supported.

@miker

Given your experience with datatypes, do you think it could be that GIF Animated Pointers are not supported on AROS x86 because of datatypes?

Basically Pointer Preferences supports Animated Ponters fine but on Wandere they are displayed transparent, see second screenshot !

Not sure it's a datatype problem though it's possible.

I seem to remember when Apollo Team was working with AROS 68k before they branched off that there was a similar issue with the mouse pointer that at times completely disappeared.

I believe that was a graphics system issue that was resolved.

@deadwood
Maybe you could offer some insight as to why the pointer would not display correctly. Any ideas?

On my AROS 68k I have never had problems on the Pointer which  completely disappeared, Apollo Team makes use of Dopus5 that creates could create that and other problems, you see slowness overlay icons

On AROS 68k the Pointer Preferences "doesn't support PNG images", but it supports very well the graphic pointers of OS3 RTG, on my AROS 68k I use the same pointers of my AfA One, as quality they are equal to those shown in the screenshot.

@miker1264

Sorry, no idea. I never worked with code supporting pointer.
