AROS One 68k v1.3 Preview

Also AROS One 68k as v1.4 of AROS x86 has the same graphic look, new icons for Drawers and Applications created by me. At the moment the release is not foreseen because AROS 68k for me is not yet mature to be distributed.

AROS One 68k is a Distribution based on the native AROS 68k Nightly Build, it can run on both Emulated and Real Amigas, for the latter you need a very powerful expansion, and a particular startup-sequence.

Successfully installed the porting of the game Shadow Warrior by BSzili, the game based on the engine of Duke Nukem 3D could not be run on a standard AROS 68k because the "Return" button is not supported.

On AROS One 68k I found the solution by replacing a library, i attach video test of Shadow Warrior + Audio Tracks video resolution 1024x768.

Find HERE, information and downloads needed to run Shadow Warrior on OS3 and AROS 68k

Released the new version of the Dock Bar MultiSkin WBDock 2 for OS3 and AROS 68k, available for download also a version of WBDock dedicated to the old OS1.3.

In this new version the static ChipRAM allocation has been removed, in the previous version of a few months ago syaya added the option to remove the frame around the brush of the Dock style "MagicWB" and added the ToolType SMARTREFRESH

AROS One 68k has been updated with the latest software releases including the new WBDock 2 v2.327

I like the simplicity and versatility of WBDock. I wonder if the author would consider an AROS x86_64 version as well ?

I really like the colorful background image too!  :)

On AROS x86 I prefer AmiStart, in addition to the management of the whole system its toolbar automatically inherits the colors of the background  ;D

I'm curious. Does GoADF work with your AROS One 68k ?

I don't use GoADF but it seems to work fine even if on a separate screen.

Where would you like to use AROS 68k? On expanded Amiga or emulator?

I use it with WinUAE. Same as with other flavors of AROS 68k.

I'm writing a small utility called MakeADF that creates blank ADF Images. So I need a quick way to test them to make sure I get the internal structures and the initial OFS/FFS format correct.

Using AROS One 68k would be easy to test with. I simply drop the new ADF in a folder then start WinUAE and then use GoADF.
Having a CLI utility to make blank ADF Images may be useful.

WinUAE can create blank ADF images of any size and format "with a click", and to see the contents of ADFs, just drag and drop them onto the Workbench.

When the work is appreciated you have more energy to create something, I am not a developer but in my small way I want to give my contribution.

The video of the Themes had a good success on Youtube, about a hundred views in a few days, now I created one on WBDock2 to show its functionality on AROS 68k
