there is. the different themes have altered window border and bar dimensions. but this implies you need to have themeing enabled. its being disabled, enabled and theme chosen in the appearance prefs. you can also set up your own theme, even one consisting of iff ilbm images.
for dimensions consider
Prefs/Presets/Themes/*some theme*/system/config text file. it contains all the dimensions settings.

VisualPref is for OS3, where did you see it on AROS 68k?
AROS 68k uses a program to change the Themes called Appearance, the same used by AROS x86 , changing the window size is not easy also because the scripts differ from one Theme to another.

Unfortunately, you cannot attach images here.

I believe that there are some publishers to create the themes, as said modifying them by hand is difficult as well as inaccurate.

Long ago I saw a theme editor and I am confident having included it into icaros desktop, unfortunately I don't know if it applies to 68K AROS too. Luckily, all themes created for x86 AROS are compatible with m68K version too.

Since I created the current theme for Icaros, I can only tell you that the 'editor' I used are Photoshop and Notepad++.

why is it inaccurate? this is the most accurate since you have not tool in between that could mess it up. that said there is a problem with modifying the look of the menus admittedly. at least as far as i remember,

I was referring to the fact that modifying only the images in some cases corrupts the theme, I think there is an Editor because if you look at the various Themes, the scripts are different from theme to theme, without a basis or knowledge of the scripts you can not improvise.
I was able to modify some "simple" themes but as deytto is not always easy without knowing the procedure for creating the theme.
