so it will only be available for abiv1, I mean well?
Surely whoever ported the program to abiv0 will probably fix some things, especially this one for midi signal reception.

It's time now to give a Status report.
In the meantime I have been trying out a lot. But it seems that all my efforts are in vain. With the Poseidon USB MIDI driver for CAMD I have not had any success so far. There is no transfer between the USB system of the Poseidon.library and the CAMD.library.
That means for me: within AROS there are two excellent MIDI transmission systems, but they need each other. So the missing link makes both sides useless and therefore senseless. K. Mattheusen and Chr. Hodges have done their best to provide AROS with a working MIDI transmission system.  The best of all MIDI programs "BarsnPipes" is about to complete the porting to AROS. Now I have doubts if the development team is even interested in MIDI transmission.
My opinion: If AROS should have a chance at all, then it should have multimedia abilities and possibilities like the AMIGA-OS.
Since I cannot solve the problem alone, I will stop my efforts for now. If somebody should find himself ready to solve the complained problem, he can contact me via my email: alfred.j.faust@gmx.de

It seems none have ported the 68k code to AROS. Does the midi class make something in DEVS:Midi ? It should copy there somesort of CAMD MIDI driver (written in 68k asm and in Amiga hunk format) Odd way of doing things. While creating the CAMD MIDI driver it also patches the name inside the thing... :) So there should be more than one of such files if more than one MIDI device is attached.
