Hi all!

I'v recently take out some old PC from basement and tried Icaros on it and all is fine, now I want to install it with few other OS'es: Windows XP, some Linux (probably Mandriva Spring 2007), Haiku, FreeDOS and maybe more. So here are the questions:

1. Do I need to use GAG (http://gag.sourceforge.net/) or GRUB is enought?
2. Does order matter? I've read somewhere, that Windows first, then the rest.

Best regards!

I don't know how to help you I just know that if you install windows first and leave some free space for icaros, after installing this last grub recognizes the two os, so you wouldn't have any problems even installing freedos

After long time I've somehow managed to install three OS'es (FreeDOS, Icaros and WinXP), it's not perfect solution but it works.

1. Install FreeDOS
2. Install Icaros
3. Install WinXP - this will wipe out GRUB, so you won't be able to start Icaros but Windows will properly detect FreeDOS.
4. Run Icaros installer and reinstall GRUB only!

Interesting.

I've always fancied doing that but most Linux distro's use Grub2 and I wasn't sure if grub (1) would play nice if double (or triple) booting.

I'll give it a whirl.

That's very interesting.

I'll try that as well to see how it goes.
