Just to inform. AROS 64 night builds with contributions work both native and Linux, hosted now.
Just be aware that there are some progs. in contribution that crash or have problem.
I would realy appreciate if someone could try out the development suite.

practically the night builds are functional to what I understand and kalamatee has done a great job, Paolone is constituting the new distribution although for the moment will not have magellan, you have to bring some essential app, but I think this already we know

I ran SMP 07-29-2019 to day on Virtual Box. It ran fine.
Are there any weekly notes on progress toward SMP?

Hi. Have you deeply tested it? Kalamatee told me SMP version it's not as stable as the mono-core one, and I prefer sticking to what developers are suggesting to me. At least the first version of Icaros 64 will be still single core, to just to multiprocessing afterwards.

I burned the disc and booted it through Virtual Box.
I will have to test more on Sunday.

I tested Aros SMP on my quad core HP laptop. It is a DV6 model.
It did lock up after a while.

Im trying to figure how to test AROS64, but don't know where to start.

Do I always recompile from git daily ?
what is the process of it all. Thanks - new to Aros dev.

I have currently Installed on win10 64, VMware Player & following from this good guide :

AROS -> https://github.com/aros-development-team/AROS.git

Running on Win10 - VM Player -> Ubuntu64 18.0.4.3 LTS
Running on Ubuntu64 VM Player -> Linux compiled AROS

Do we have any info on what has been tested & how & what to test etc.

I have beginner level understanding of C.

Any info would be great :D
