Hi,

Is there a forum where developers from different platforms (3.1, 4.0, MorphOS, AROS) can be found? I'm not asking for system developers forum, but rather cross platform application developers forum. I remember Olaf created such forum a long time ago, but I can't find it anymore.

Hi Krzysztof,

Good to see you're still alive  :)

Looks dead to me.
Yeah  :( Olaf decided to pull the plug (without any notice) when it was becoming clear that the new privacy rules were coming into play. Or at least that was the reason provided at the time.

I have not found something as a replacement myself.

Regards,
Ron.

The worst thing is that all content was lost: not even the time to make a backup of the posts...

We are meeting on slack. Not only aros but all flavours. However aros is the most active section. Im also workling on odyssey and intend to setup a nightly for it while looking at updating the engine. Simply join us.

@wawa I not a big fan of slack TBH.

@all
If there are no specialized forums, maybe there are sub sections in some well forums? It's hard for me to imagine there are no places where developers who do cross-platform development share their experience. :/

@deadwood

what concerns slack, neither i am. but it works fairly well, better than the dev ml or mail to revive aros development.

however if you happen to find a lively cross amiga dev platform be it forum, ml or whatever, let me know.

im trying. but that doesnt mean i am actually able to do that.
not going into details the current webkit(2?) code base is a huge update in comparison to revision that is used in deadwoods last branch. however the current odyssey is working on i386 abi v1 and it might be worth to make it compile for the audience along with the system.

Ok, if there are no dedicated forums for cross-platform development, what forums are out there that are frequence from developers from different platform? One that comes to my mind is amigaworld.net.

wawa honestly  the current version work fine then through the identification you can wrapped to be able to see some that you can't, I can't enter on one (I need it for work) but it's not a problem because I'm currently stopped, I notice something that even on a core 2 duo at 3 Ghz sometimes it's slow to load pages, but jit java is disabled?
However the important thing is that you are thinking about updating and we hope that you still keep this version (if I have problems using rdesktop and I connect remotely at most)
