Hi

Out of curiosity I tried running AROS Linux hosted i386 under qemu-i386 (emulates only cpu, not a whole system) on x64 computer.
It boots up into Wanderer but there's some issues with filesystem. Doesn't find files, etc. Also in shell.

That's with 8.2.9 version of qemu-i386. Has someone tried with newer version?

If there was (as used to be) working m68k hosted or ppc hosted Linux version of AROS, one could use qemu-m68k or qemu-ppc to
run 68k (also Amiga 68k) or PPC compiled programs (only AROS, not MOS or AOS4) on x64 computer with cpu emulation only,
no system emulation (like UAE).

Are you running AROS 32bit or AROS v11 64bit? Do you run QEmu from Windows or Linux?

QEmu can run AROS directly see attached video:

I know, I'm AROS developer, but not really active since long time.

The idea with qemu user mode wouid just to be to have a "68k hosted AROS" (or "PPC hosted AROS) without the need
to run it on a full 68k Linux/BSD/whatever host OS (either on real machine or emulated).

I didn't quite understand what you wanted to do, so let's continue the discussion on the arosworld reference site where you might get some more help! this site is currently blocked for new users!
