Ok solved, I used the AROS FlexCat-2.18 version found on Aminet

Now I need to refine the translation, some terms are difficult to translate into Italian (very large vocabulary)

If it can be useful for the community, I attach "italian.ct" file and "Wanderer.catalogs" file in Italian v3.1 .

Successfully tested on both AROS x86 and AROS 68k.

The translation has been improved thanks to the contribution of dear friend "Samo79"

As soon as I have some time I will see if I can translate Zune Prefs too !

Thank you Mazze, in Italian I have updated, translated and created more "missing" Italian catalogs:

- Zune Prefs
- Pointer prefs
- iControl Prefs (in this catalog I translated a string left in English and corrected some strings in Italian )

On Wanderer I made a small modification.

As soon as I finish testing I will attach the various "CT" files and "catalog" files.

On ZunePrefs I have to shorten some strings otherwise I get a very big GUI !

Great! Very long ago, I also contributed some italian catalogs to the AROS repository, but I had no more time for this later. Good to see someone else picking up the job!

Now there are 6 catalog prefs localized in Italian (iControl, Pointer, Print, PSI, Wanderer, Zune) , before forwarding them I would like some users to do some verification to find any translation errors.

I say this because some of the "uncommon" terms are not well understood and the translators all give different results, many I translated them because of my computer experience.

In the screenscot "Print Prefs" and "PSI Prefs" (there were no ct in Italian, as well as Pointer and Zune)

I found some anomalies in the source catalog

- ASL Prefs > the Width measure (see screenshot) cannot be translated, this string is not present in any .cd and .ct (in any language)

- I updated the Wanderer catalog to version 4.0, it only works if I write 3.1 instead of 4.0 (I assume the wanderer version is still stuck at 3.1)

Oh well. See screenshot. MSG_SIZE has been used for the height. The size and the width aren't translated.

I tried to create ASL catalog, both in Italian and German, the system does not recognize the catalog, if I correct the version to 1.0 it works but there is the usual untranslated string !

You need an update of the Prefs/ASL application. Should be available in the next nightly build.
