Amiga 060 demos working on Icaros Desktop ?

Hello all !
Now i own an Icaros Desktop computer (core duo with 4go of ram, rtl 8139 for ethernet and nvidia 9500 gt for gfx) and i believe that i can emulate a 1260 computer so demos for amiga 1200 with 060 processor.
Is it possible ?

It is no problem to emulate 060 but our Amiga 68k emulator is way outdated. For this reason most 060 demos will not run correct.

yogib33r, can you attach some demos here so I can do a verification.

On all WinUAE based Amiga emulators (FS-UAE, E-UAE, JanuUAE etc..) the 060 has the same power as the 020.

Of course if a Demo requires 060 you must have the correct 060 compatible libraries on the system.

No, it is not. This version unfortunatly does not work. I would appricate if people test stuff before they upload to the archives. If we want AROS to look like a serious Operative System we should focus on software that is tested and work.

I agree with you nikos, software before being upload on archives.aros must be tested thoroughly !
Otherwise new users might believe that all software posted on archives does not work and consequently and abandon AROS.

I can promise you that a very good reason people do not use or like AROS is cause they experienced a lot of problems with it. As we talk about, bad software is one of the reasons. We should at least be open about it. I used countless of hours to try out AROS hardware and software. It should not be like that. Most give up very fast if things do not work imidiatly.
