I'm not at home at the moment.
I can test Scalos on x86-64 later today.
Hi miker, possibly to ease the basic installation on 68k follow these steps:
- Use a new AROS installation with a Nightly Build
- Rename the
AROS volume to
Scalos (this will avoid making assignments)
- Copy the
entire contents of the Scalos folder found in "
Contrib/Extras/Scalos" to the
AROS root.
- From the
Scalos/Tools folder, copy the
LoadWB file to the
SYS:/C (rename the existing one)
- Edit the startup sequence and
replace Wanderer with LoadWB.
- To have a ready and functional configuration:
- Copy the contents of the folder Storage\Envarc to
SYS:Env-Archive/Scalos copy also the contents of the language folder
Reboot and Scalos will be ready to be used.
The steps are the same if you need to install Scalos on AROS x86, you can also use the same configuration files, is the same version of contrib.
If instead you want to install Scalos on AROS x86 with a installer, download this version of Scalos that
includes the installer, be careful because this installation caused a crash
