Update ZuneARC, now uses the XAD library, supports the following formats: LHA, LZX, ZIP, 7z, TAR.BZ2, TAR, TAR.GZ, TAR.Z, ZOO, RAR4/5 Archives

In the video tutorial you can see for 'supported archives' how to add files to an archive, delete files from an archive, extract individual files or folders or the whole archive :)

In AROS One v2.3 there will be some new features, three new folders "Benchmarks", "DemoEffects" and "DemoScene" that will include software that I found on Archives, Aminet and some Developer sites.

In "DemoEffects" you will find 40 good quality demos from the Italian developer "Calogiuri Enzo Antonio", see screnshot !

Having completed all Datatypes Descriptors, AROS One now recognises TIF, WEBP and PPM images.

All Image File Types in the Icon Tooltype have the tool "LoView", excluding TIF images because TIFF Datatypes do not yet exist on AROS.

For TIFF images I have used the tool "VindentiumPicta" in the tooltype, but the image must be dragged to the "VindentiumPicta" window because this programme cannot be associated, hopefully "Juan Carlos" will add this function to his programmes.

Two more new descriptors for AROS One, these are "XBM" (X BitMap) and "XPM" (X PixMap), both formats are not handled graphically by Multiview but are well managed by LoView!

I have associated AmiFox with OpenURL requests, a tool used by Amiga/AROS Software to direct you to their site for any updates or news.

I would say that it is very fast and very practical to download the software, I made a small video showing the functionality of AmiFox !!!

In the attached video test, the PerCMan software once expired automatically redirects you to its site to get info and download the updated version

By Christmas I should be able to distribute the new version 2.3 of AROS One, there are a lot of new features in this release, updated Core, new software and a lot of updated software.

In addition I have created new configurations and completed the 4 Icon Sets, as always installable through a simple click, there are now almost a thousand of them.

Among the novelties of AROS One v2.3 there is the presence of 3 new Directories located in "Extras" it's about "Benchmarks", "DemoEffects" and "DemoScene", see screenshot, it's about a lot of very good Demo on RTG screen, many of them came from Amiga world.

AROS One v2.3 is online, would anyone like to test a preview of the Image USB version? I am interested to know if the installation on Hardisk works

Thanks for your video, I see that you have not tested the new "DemoScene", "DemoEffects" and "Benchmarks" folders, which I think are very interesting to see.

Thanks for making this video too ;)

Concerning the Benchmarcks folder, to close the BogoMIPS Shell, you had to use the "Enter" key, while the "SPS" and "Terrain" demos inside the B4SDL folder are interactive, i.e. you can navigate with the "arrow keys", of course they will be faster if you have a supported graphics card.
