AROS One x86 Work In Progress

One more game chosen to enrich the games section of AROS One.

Powermanga  is  a shoot'em up game; you will have to fight more than 60 different types of enemies.

You start with a ship, and enemies show up throwing bombs at you. Shoot them, and get better weapons for your ship (otherwise, you won't go too far!)

To get better weapons, you will have to catch green and red gems. When-ever  you pick a green gem, the highlighted option at the right side of the screen goes up one unit.

Also for AmiFox I created the scripts to change the "Button Theme" on the fly, at the moment there are 4 themes available, see screenshot

You will find this new feature on the Prossomo AROS One v2.1. As shown by attached video you will be able to change the backgrounds or delete it altogether.

Has been updated SMB2FS by bravo "salass00", this version has been improved, now when accessing shared "without password", no request is shown.

Successfully tested creating and mounting SMB2 through SMB2-GUI by the bravo "Yannick Buchy" included on AROS One (see screenshot)

You will find SMB2FS installed on the new version of AROS One 2.1 that will be released in a few weeks, after testing ISO and USB image on both Virtual Machine and PC.

AmiStart: Change Buttons and Sizes on the fly by simply clicking the icon, Changing also allows automatic saving of the chosen theme, also the background color will change and adapt based on the color of the Wanderer background used, I attach small comprehensive video.

For the new AROS One v2.1, I have updated all 4 styles of Icons to the newly installed applications and newly created scripts, many icons have been graphically improved.

I would say it is the most complex part of AROSOne, in fact the installation of the icon packages will have to replace "all icons" designated, without losing the Tooltyes data and assigned tools.

Now the creation of the ISO DVD andUSB Image and the various functionality tests can be started, after which AROS One v2.1 will be deployed.

Also released is a new version of filesysbox.library V54.4 for OS3 and AROS x86, now you can unmount and remount the same shared folder, also works on virtual machines like VMware.

This will allow those using Windows shares to disconnect "expired" shares after 15 minutes !!!

On AROS One created special Script that DisMount and Mount the "disconnected" connection (see screenshot)

As a matter of security Windows systems disable network shares after 15 minutes, this disassembly procedure avoids changing this Windows feature.

Testing AROS One 2.1 it looks great, thanks for the hard work.

Meanwhile I found the same problem in two places, it easily corrected changing the path.
If you install using Work for Extras:

RNOTunes has no icon and has a non working path in Amistart (SYS:Extras/Music....), for some reason it's not working with that path. I have to correct to Extras:Music....The same happens with OWB Theme changing scripts. However using the shell it works fine, Amistart problem interpreting path's?
There's an empty SYS:Extras folder present...

RNOTunes also gives an error stating : Syntax Error in line: -268434840!,File: RNOPlayer.hws (current line:2636 - In function: ?)

The errors you are experiencing are all due to the path you changed ! RNOTunes works fine and has the correct icon, OWB Themes also work fine.

Can you tell me the exact path you gave to OWB and RNOTunes ? can you take a screenshot of Work ?

Consider that Extras is not only a folder, but also a Volume, this is necessary if I installed Extras on other Disk or other partition.

Basically all the applications that are in Extras, reside in the EXTRAS volume:

Sorry, nope, the errors are out of box, just after clean installing with no changing at all. RNOTunes even starts with a black icon on Amistart bar.

I know Extras is a volume that's why I changed the path to Extras:Music... as I said the path it's working now but
RNOTunes gives that error even if you navigate to the folder and start it from there.
I am doing another clean install on another PC to see if this happens again.

Ok, thanks warelogix for pointing that out.
Basically it is not an error, when you create the Work partition, SYS:Extras is not recognized (I can see to add an assign)

I attach you an Archive with Fixes for Amistart and OWB Theme, you just have to replace your files.

Of course restore your changes first, if you encounter other problems report them !

Hi Amigasystem, I confirmed with a second install on another PC. The same result.
I applied your fix (which also correspond to the changes I made manually) and it solved the issue.

Okay, I am checking if there are other fixes to do, for example on VAMP, there is the configuration file "Skinvamp.cfg", basically just edit:

SYS:Extras/Video/VAMP/Skins/BlackNight
with
Extras:Video/VAMP/Skins/BlackNight

Of course those who don't install AROS One on 2 Partitions or 2 Disks don't have to do any fixes
