Would anyone try to install using this software and see if it works? This would save a lot of time instead of downloading VMware to install any OS.

I can't try it now since my current USB doesn't allow for Icarus to boot through it after I tried to install on it via VMware.

There is no point in trying. There are literally dozens of those kind of tools and none of them are suited for installing AROS.

What does "boot through" mean ?

Have you tried the different grub options ? Save mode comes to mind.

There are several other boot options available, combined or not with making some changes in your bios to make it possible for AROS to boot.

Which brings the question: on what specific hardware did you tried to boot from ?

I wouldn’t say they don’t work.  It’s complex but it most certainly has been done once that I know of.   Iirc I may have explained on the dev-ml how I accomplished it using grub4dos 🤷‍♂️
