Few days ago, a friend of mine gave me an old Acer Aspire 5600 without power supply. He doesn't know if it still works or not and I can't find info about the power supply jack pinout. Can someone here help me finding a way to turn on this old notebook? I think it would be a good AROS notebook. It has a GMA 950, so it should work with native graphic modes.

I know... I have 3 of them. I need to know where the positive goes... to the central pin or to the external of the connector. If this notebook is still working I don't want to burn it.

the ones I used had the connectors to connect to the socket of the power supply without any doubt about the connection I also used Chinese adapters, maybe you should go to the computer or electronics store
