You are right... without the executable flag it work as it should. But this wasn't needed on real Amigas. On Libs I have xadmaster.library 13.1 (26-Nov-2018) and a directory called XAD with these files in it: 7z, ar, bzip, DImp, MSA, PackDir, RAR, xz, ZAP.
On my old AmigaOS 3.9 libs I have these files: ar, bzip, bzip2, CAB, COP, Cpio, DImp, EPF, HA, idPAK, LightFileSystem, LU, LZX, MakeSFX, MS-TNEF, MSA, NiteTimeGamesDos, oe4, PAK, RAR, RPM, SensiDisk, Trackmo-DOS, Wrapster, ZAP, Zoom.
I was able to browse inside almost every archive. Why many of these files are not ported to AROS?
And what about increasing the lenght of the filename shown in the listers? It was good on a low resolution screen but it looks really bad on higher resolution.
