Hello to all

I tried the deadwood version works with youtube, there are problems due to the age of the motor, "I don't mean programming", on ebay you can't see the images of the articles and on facebook the images of the posts (cmq you have to log in as ipad) and facebook basic is impossible, google services are not accessible and surely something else, I make myself available to the community by offering 200 euros a month, and 500 only for the month of January then for the remainder of the months always 200 the more I cannot do for the moment, in a year and a half I will be able to pay a larger sum.

Yours sincerely

I'm using OWB 1.25 from 29.08.2016 and Youtube works without problems. There is no need to spoof as other browser, because if you spoof OWB like Chrome, then you can't see the previews. I'm using YouTubeCenter.user.js, so I don't know if I can watch videos becouse of it. For now, I can use Facebook spoofing as Internet Explorer 10 and it sorta works... something has changed in the last days, so I can't see anymore my list of contacts. The rendering of the pager is much better if you spoof as Chrome 42 for Linux, but often all the adds on the right overlaps the posts if you scroll down the page. I haven't tried Ebay lately, so I don't know if it works. Anyway, I gived up using OWB included in the latest versions of Icaros, because it crashes always trying to watch a video, both on Youtube and Facebook.

I understand you becomes frustrating after a while, I have remedied with rdesktop and I connect to ebay and facebook from a small computer with win7, however as I said in the other thread, opening a bounty to collect a sum of money over time would not be a thing wrong, now I'm not doing any spofing, I'm looking for services that can go for example I was looking for an alternative to gmail to group all my accounts and I found it, facebook is an ordeal, thank goodness I'm not using it right now , however yes the icaros desktop version does not work properly :(

Maybe the best thing to do right now, is to collect a good ammount of money and then hire a coder for a specific task. Other OSes does this to complete complex tasks. I think Haiku does this. Just creating a bounty and tie some money to it has never worked too well for us. Collect a good ammount of money and hire someone to work on a fixed goal.

you wont get anyone hired for no amount of money to work on amiga like system. it has been talked to death for twenty years and nothing happened. all you can do is to support the dedicated developers as long as they are any.

What about asking to Fabien Coeurjoly, the original author of OWB? He should know how to update OWB. I think it's only a matter of how much money he wants to do the job.

i have never talked to fab, but apparently he retreated even from work on morphos and considering that morphos developers do not like to share their work with other platforms too much, i think these are rather remote options.

as for secure connections, just download the new openssl release and make a compilation?

yes to what I understand there is a patch created by nicola for ffmpeg and openssl you have to change this at least for what concerns openssl, the part of ffmpeg since it doesn't work you can also remove it

We can just ask if he's interested to update OWB and if yes, how much he wants for completing the job. The worst thing that can happen is he replying "sorry, I'm not interested". So Morphos' OWB is closed source?
