honestly.. amigaworld is being attended either by dreamers with absolutely no technical competence (whether they realize it or not) or in some rare cases by people with at least some apparent competence who though prefer to take part in lengthy discussions but hardly actually attempting to do anything.
actually there is no forum where active people across amiga platforms meet. even as long as olaf put up his pages as alternative for disfunct utilitybase it has attracted very little audience and mostly aros oriented afair.
so if you look particularly for os3 development especially asm stuff, head back to eab. for limited assistance on os4 development go for amigans.net. for amiga related hardware projects you might consider visiting a1k.org, however youll need either german knowledge or google translator.
im sorry but nothing else comes to my mind, but actually you should know.

Im not sure how worrying that is but given the attitudes in the community i think it has been pretty expectable. The eab is still doing well with their usual little projects. There is more and more ambicious 68k hardware projects especially in poland and germany. An "official" update to ks3.,1 is being maintained. Aeon hosts some devs and prpjects too, but im a bit sceptic to sign ndas and such. Also morohos gets ahead with their odyssey and such. Just still few people like to be open and share the effort.

Worrying? Amiga is not an entirely healthy platform and it is probably more divided than anything reasonable mainstream.

Both macOS and Windows are single platform (or two for Windows if you count 32 and 64 bit, it is in a transition period).

For UNIX we have several *BSD and Linux variants. They either need massive infrastructure to deliver binaries (Linux), or resort to source distributions (*BSD) for add-on software.

Amiga has four different platforms, and one of them (AROS) supports multiple architectures. Additionally, we have a lots of infighting between the Amiga platform supporters. Add to this that 3 out of 4 Amiga platforms rely on hidden sources, and given the overall sizes of macOS, Windows and UNIX market shares compared to the Amiga family, well I think you know this.

The Amiga forums I have seen either are kind of devoted to a single strain (but they often list different sub-forums) or as with amigaworld.net which seems to sport a variation of different platform users (but leaning towards OS4), people just do not seem to do much development on either platform. We are more like users and dreamers. Kind of what Wawa said.

Perhaps you should pick your favourite forum, like eab which seems to be the most active one. Ask them if they want to create a sub-forum for cross-platform development. I think the Amiga forums may not have thought of it in this angle. Otherwise just go ahead in whatever place you might seem happy with. Do not worry, just do (try) it.

Btw kalamatee has just updated aros mesa to V19. Actually i might still need some advice from you on odyssey. Now need to get home and check i386 compile. I have some suspicion where m68k fails.

You might have missed pn that but desdwood was a notable aros developer. Late version of mesa and odyssey ports are his work among others.

wawa in the next editions of icaros (aros) it will be possible to have the new support of mesa ?, and then we speak clear deadwood is a pillar with regards to what we can touch with our hands now

As i said if someone puts an effort into porting it over to abiv0 on trunk. Which might be possible but abiv1 has accumulated many essential upgrades in the meantime, so im not sure if its worth.

yes indeed you are right, it would be more reasonable to think of abiv1 since we are on the finishing line with it
