Hello,

I'm an old Amiga user, and fairly new to Aros/Icarus.

I have an HP Probook 450 g0.

While booting, I receive the following error message:

Fixme:  acpioswaitsemaphore     timeout 0x000

This error message streams quite a bit before the computer finally successfully boots to the desktop.

Do I need to modify a script, or is this an unavoidable product of the hardware I'm using?

Thanks!

It seems something related to the ethernal work in progress status of AROS ABIv0 ACPI implementation :-)
I'd say you can ignore this message and, er... wait.

nothing to do I waited 40 minutes, nothing to do I waited 40 minutes, but I understand that on the new computers everything runs smoothly
