On 64 v11 the GCC works, but the compilation does not work, it goes to error, in Development important files are missing, we discussed it with deadwood here:

Do you have a link to instructions on how to install gcc at the command line for future reference?

Combining both downloads is straighforward

1. extract AROS archive
2. extract contrib archive
3. copy output of 2 into 1 keeping directories (copy AROS directory from "contrib archive" over AROS directory from "AROS archive")

I will test it with some small single file applications.
