This is the preview of AROS One x86 v1.8 Hosted Windows, i must say it works very well, very fast and very convenient for testing updates and software.

Basically it is like using WinUAE, AROS One being placed in a Windows folder, everything can be updated or added on the fly by copying the data to its folder, data will be available immediately without the need to restart the siestem.

AROS One Hosted Windows will be identical to the native version of AROS One x86, so it will have the same version, and the same software installed, and will be distributed through a self-installing ZIP Archive

Due to the lack of Audio the Videos are seen too fast on AROS x86 Windows Hosted, found by using the V.A.M.P Video Player, this Player being less powerful than Mplayer, allows you to see videos at an almost normal speed.

In V.A.M.P package includes numerous Skins, many were created by me, on AROS One you can find a few more.

I wanted to try to add in the MainMenu AROS One 68k, but I have problems installing Wine.

From the application " Ubuntu Software Center" I get the error message "cannot install Wine on on this computer"

I tried to download and install a version of Wine Portable, but again there are problems, see screenshot, strange a "Portable" pogram should not need a "real" installation, as it normally happens on Windows but also on Amiga/AROS  :o

Although I don't like Host systems, just for experience I wanted to run AROS One on Easypeasy, everything seems to work well and fast, of course I didn't experience the fluidity of a real PC or a VM, also I noticed that some Applications like Amistart and BoingIconBar don't start, at the moment I didn't identify the cause, on AROS One Host Windows BoingIconBar works fine.

I am attaching a small video showing the operation of AROS One Host Linux.
