]It could be a hardware problem. This behavior was typical for ps/2 keyboards: no more than two keys pressed simultaneously are processed. I remember that in 1995 we laughed a lot about it. I'm not sure about the usb keyboard, but it seems that on cheap usb keyboards, the effect still occurs...

Hi, i don't think it is, i use several of these keyboards, including the PS2 one, to play more complex pc games and the problem seems to be only with up and down arrows.

yes i don't use icaros desktop janus-ua and i launch it as a common program and it is not integrated into the system

So you're using kind of a vanilla Aros with whload? I'm sorry, i didn't quite get it.

in my distribution janus-uae is not integrated into the system like in icaros, you run it and you have the workbench :)

Ok, just for the record, the only way i could solve the problem with Right Alt and up and down cursors on janus was by re-maping the RAlt to LShift through poseidon keyboard settings.
Games play normally now, using LShift instead of RAlt for fire button.
