The colors on workbench are often wrong.

After booting background color should be gray, but is brown. When using MEmacs and returning to Workbench, the background is correctly gray.

When returning from WHDLoad, the palette is completely shuffeld.

the problem with palette is not related to the vampire or its version or any other hardware. it is related to the usage of planar screens such as the native amiga chipset screens that are being accessed by amiga chipset driver. while switching screens the palette is not being stored and then retrieved when tthe particular screen is being brought forward. the issue is known and documented and someone simply needs to implement it.
