IIRC it was mentioned on the developers mailinglist (couple of months back now) that the address (hosting) for the list would change. I guess that has now actually happened ?

fwiw there are several more links on the aros.org website that are now pointing towards wrong links to now defunt aros-exec.org domain.

maybe tim could take care of it if he was here, i guess he did before.
but the thing is i tried to send an email to the list and it failed.

Did you not see the email Aaron sent to the list on 28th September titled 'Mailing list will be moving next week, expect outages'?

Anyway, I'm nearly finished migrating the list, and I'm hopeful it will be up and running again by the end of this weekend.

What is the url of the ML? Is it the same as before?
