By the end of this week I hope to start working on a MUI user interface based on what I've learned over the last few months.

At first I will concentrate my efforts on a simple window with a menu system. The window will act, hopefully, as an OpenGL Context so that I can work on displaying 3D wireframes in all four viewports.

It will be nice to work on the 3D Renderer again. :-)

Having so many interesting projects to work on doesn't leave much time for the fun ones!

It sounds very interesting, is it a Blender port to Icaros Desktop? it would be very interesting to be able to use Blender in AmigaOS Open Source

no it is not the blender port, mike is a user who was working on a port of another software, but has not logged in here for a long time, I assume that we will have to wait a little longer to have a rendering program on aros, yes alternatively there is povray  :-\

I'm still around. I'm involved in several AROS projects at the moment.

Currently I'm working with Icon Library, Super MultiView, Pic Datatypes, IconEdit, FileMaster and updating ShowPicture for use on 64bit and adding functions for icons.

I haven't worked on RayStorm since last time. When I have some time I will go back to it to see what can be done with it. It's written in c++ but would need to use MUI/ZUNE. I'm still getting more familiar with both.

But I am certainly interested in Ray Tracers in general.

apart from povray as I said before there is nothing currently on aros, and as free sources besides raystorm on aminet there is only skulpt3D that does not use mui, maybe maybe you could take a look and see if a port could be more feasible , in the end we are only talking about rendering and not animation, both that raystorm and skulpt3D deal only with this  :)

@salvo

Thanks I will look at the sources.

I will work more with Raytracing when I have time.

I have a medical appointment today. It's a follow up.
