Ahoy!
It's hard to believe that I'm the first person who tryed to get this username.
I'm Michael from Berlin in Germany and I'm 41 years old and grandpa.
My first computer was the C64, later I had an Amiga 500 and then a Windows PC.
I'm a programer and I found Ikaros Desktop, Aros and all the websites about it some weeks ago.
It's my dream to develop software for this operating system.
I am very happy to be "Commodore" in this forum and I will dream about it tonight.
We still exist and we have fun ;)
Thanks to all members.

Hi welcome

if you are a programmer, this is a good thing, the main problem of aros currently and odyssey web browser (I connect remotely to access the network decently) maybe you should update the webkit engine, currently the upgrade to openssl has been done.

all the best

Hello Michael,

I am little older than you, but no grandpa ;-). Welcome to AROS, programmers always welcome. But I wold suggest some smaller programs first, webkit is not a small and trivial job ;-).

Let us know, if you need any help.

Im based in berlin too. Not a programmer but involved with the system. You can join us on aros slack channel for assistance. You can also visit me and i can show you how to cross compile aros stuff using the build system to an extent.

Commodore 4ever  :D

Welcome and code or compile some cool stuff for us :D

My favorite program to be ported is latest version of WinUAE.
We have a Amiga 68k emulator but it is getting old.
