I am trying to run AROS 68K under the Amiga Forever / Knoppix Light emulation environment.  The booting process stops and gives me this message.  I changed  paraments for CPU and for the Z3 RAM but no success.

I was hoping somebody could help in identifying the issues.  Thank you.

Which version of AROS 68k are you using, can you provide a link?

I ask this because at this point I will be able to tell you which two "Roms" are compatible and what configuration is needed.

I am using the version of AROS included in the Amiga Forever version 7 DVD.   I don't know if there is a link for that.  The roms are dated 2017-03-28.  I am trying to run it with UEA under Linux / Knoppix Light that also comes from the Amiga Forever DVD.

AROS runs just fine directly from the DVD and under WinUAE.  My issue is with Knoppix Light / UAE.    Thank you.

These are very old distributions, AROS 68k and AROS x86 are continuously updated and improved in stability and quality, the Roms you have or the one integrated on WinUAE are obsolete, this is also one of the reasons for your Guru.

If you want to emulate AROS 68k you have to download the latest Nightly Build and use the Roms that are inside the ISO, there are also Distributions that include software and have an optimal configuration.

You can find more information and a configuration file of mine in the attached link, in this link you will find some help I gave to users asking the same things as you, I also attach the link where you can download the latest Nightly Build.

In the Link you will also find a HardFile of mine with AROS 68k installed (latest Nightly Build), in the future AROS One 68k (my Distribution) will also be available

i downloaded the files and I was looking through the ISO.  Do you know if there is a *.uaerc already made for this?   And also where in the ISO are the *.rom files?
Thank you.

Where the ROMs are located was written in the posted link, path "Boot/Amiga"

I assume ".uaerc" is the UAE  config file ?

I can't help you because I don't use Linux, in any case no Amiga emulator FS-UAE, UAE, E-UAE, are comparable to WinUAE.

FS-UAE, UAE, E-UAE, are based on older versions of WinUAE and lack some features, for AROS 68k it is advisable to use WinUAE.
