Post by: clusteruk on August 15, 2022, 04:20:40 AM
Hi

Maybe some of you remember me, have a look in the AROS about section if you do not or this playlist :-)

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJbDbBITZMCmoq_YTzSAn9fIUOVBHPPQV

Sadly I am classed a newby here now Lol

Any way I am about to do some AROS promotion around my cases with a fully supported machines and will be looking to support more driver developments starting with a network driver that is kind of supported but not in this model. At the moment I have to add an RTL8169 card.

If you are a driver developer and want to help and get paid in hardware/cash then please contact me. As always, the driver will be open source still.

All the best

Steve

By canny coincidence I was looking at the black matx case on your website this morning! Its great you're back in touch on aros exec again.

I believe we spoke on the telephone many many years ago when you were cold calling selling extended keyboard leads for the checkmate 1500 (do you do discounts for old customers?)!

But jokes aside, I do admire your business style, your youtube videos and of course the live streams. I hope the beer supply hasn't dried up and your back isn't giving you to much discomfort.

In the past, you also documented your passion with aros and imicah (I believe it was called) and also made some great videos promoting aros in general

Your next adventure will benefit all!

I do believe there are plenty of opportunities to be had with aros (It looks like Dan is on the ball as well!). So, Id like to wish you the very best, and I look forward to a great aros future and some good returns for yourself!

Very best wishes
