Title: ZuneARC Source
Post by: AMIGASYSTEM on March 22, 2022, 07:10:49 AM
In the ZuneARC archive are included 2 source files, yesterday I tried to compile them on OS3 with GCC but I didn't succeed because of some errors. If someone is available to compile it for AROS 68k it would be very interesting, on AROS 68k there is no GUI that can handle "all Archive formats" like ZuneARC does.

have you tested RNOArchive already?

"RNOArchive" is included in AROS One 68k as well as UnArc, these GUIs to unpack archives use the "xadmaster.library" which unfortunately on AROS 68k not being updated does not support and cannot unpack some formats such as .7z. RAR v4, RAR v5 and other less known formats.

ZuneARC uses external OS3 commands and can unpack any archive, In addition, the ZuneARC GUI can be customized with custom skins.

I know you hate anything "not-Aros" but why do you not look at the OS3 version of xad

7zip and unrar work fine on command line?

Yes on AROS One 68k even from Dopus4 everything can be unpacked with a click, but having an association with icon on Wander is a useful and fast convenience as well as suitable for a modern system, the Shell is too inconvenient in these cases! on MS-DOS these things were done.
