Title: win32 abiv0 aros crashing happier than ever

Hi. I have a big issue with win32 hosted version of AROS under my Windows 10 1903 installation.


I don't know why, but hostbridge scripts I wrote for Icaros Desktop do not work anymore. When I launch pathconv, which does absolutely nothing harmful, using a combo of programs like cut, pathpart, gsar and lua replacer.lua script to turn things like wdC:program files/this/is/pippo.exe into something more windowish like C:\program files\this\is\pippo.exe, the script sudden crashes (at its very beginning!!!) and these are the latest lines appearing on the Windows console:

with the blinking cursor. What am I supposed to do? I also tried grabbing situation with sushi/ashimi, and this is what I get

Do they work if you try on another Windows 10 version? 1803, or prior to 1903?

Solved.


The issue was a fucking couple of quotation marks i forgot to wrap around a ${variable}.


Believe it or not, after a cd command failed to work, everything started falling down like rain from the sky. :-/

 :D Ahhh the famous quotation marks!!! Been there done that. I am glad you got it working and that it was a simple fix, even though those are the problems that make your head spin for days.

Thanks for your hard work on releasing a new version of Icaros. Can't wait to download it.  :)
