Somewhere in the documentation for FlexCat, is a question why - I think this was about future plans. - FlexCat would need the option to indicate the the dimensions of a string. I can't answer that question THERE, not being part of the team, but minimal size is to make sure a text is visible, especially in a busy interface, and more importantly, the maximum size is to make sure that the thetextwillfitintheinterfaceeevenifitisunexpectedinsize.
Having the option to pass that information on to the translator, just makes things easier for everyone.

The advice I can give you is to use "Short" strings, avoiding adding articles, you need to find shorter "synonymous" words.
I say this because strings that are too long may enlarge GUIs or texts may be cut off.

Indeed, but how short or how long. Imagine a menu for languages: If it's indicated that the minimum size for the items is 5 letters, then the "C" language entry has to be "C '89". If it would be indicated that the maximum size for the items is 8 letters, then "Flow-Matic" will have to be shortened.
Thus, if such requirements are in effect, then it would be a good thing to be able to pass them on to the translators.
I was not asking how to handle that; I was just indicating the purpose of that option for a question asked about it in the documentation. (Any suggestion how to better reach the relevant team would be appreciated.)

Shortening by leaving off articles can sometimes cause to unintended changes in meaning. Be careful in doing that.

The size of the strigo does not have a defined space, it depends on the space reserved !
In Practice you have to try to make the strigs similar in lunghessa to original quekki in English, in this way you don't swerve, articles in some cases can be omitted, it depends from case to case.

See, that's why FlexCat ought to be able to indicate minimum and maximum sizes.
