I have a spare GeForce GTX 1660 Super, does Aros support it? Even for 3D games?
-
no at moment

Thank you very much.
There is somewhere an updated list of supported hardware? I can find only compatibility list for laptops or desktop PCs, not single components.

Here is all the hardware compatibility !

Nvidia 2D and 3D 2005-2011. Nouveau supports 2D from TNT through to fermi gtx5xx and 3D acceleration fx5xxx to gtx4xx. It's worth noting however that support isn't guaranteed. Nor will potential power of a card reflect its performance under AROS.

Hi,

It should be noted that it maybe a little out of date and needs further users' support added to it

It will of course work natively with AROS Hosted (linux or windows)

Yes, if you have a new system, that is, recently it is better to opt for the Hosted or VM Aros 64 solution has the SATA support and also to the NVME but Deadwood is working on it and there is little software at the moment

It would perhaps be interesting to couple a minimal Linux distro to host AROS

Thank you guys, I think I will try the hosted solution.

It is better to wait for further evolutions of Aros x64 I think that for next year we will already be at a good point ;)
