Amiga/Aros has a file explorer not so bad.
It is the ASL File requester.
Without the OK/Open button is perfect.

What do you think?

I didn't quite understand what you wrote, but on AROS there is the most famous Filemanager born on Amiga, that is Dopus4, with this tool you can perform a multitude of operation on files.

Yes Dopus is great but why not another tool.
I was meaning that you can see in the picture.

Anyway for AROS x86 there would also be MyCommander, see screenshot !

Anyway Dopus4 is an irreplaceable Filemanager that you won't find on any other OS

I know it. I am been an Amiga user until 1996. I regret every day my A3000.
Anyway it was an idea. If someone wants to use it.
Otherwise, I'll try the day I can code on Aros.

I am not a developer, but I think it can be done with ZUNE, as you can see in my screenshot on OS3 with MUI there are the tools you showed.
